Purpose

As a seasoned technologist but a neophyte to the DataDog platform, I wanted to understand the effort and complexity of deploying a monitoring and observability toolset in a simple development environment that needed to evolve and migrate to a cloud platform.

I’m an intensely private person. It takes major effort for me to put myself out there. Perhaps it was my upbringing. Growing up my parents taught me to be humble and self-deprecating.
